Our Story
Hawkins Geospatial was founded on a simple belief: professional surveying services should be accurate, dependable, and responsive, but should always serve the needs of the community above all else.
After years of experience supporting residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, utility, and land development projects throughout North and South Carolina, founder Greg Hawkins established Hawkins Geospatial to provide clients with the expertise of a larger firm while maintaining the personal service and accountability of a local business.
As a North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor and FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, Greg brings experience in many aspects of land surveying and mapping, including: boundary surveying, topographic surveying, construction staking, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and drone services.
Based in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Hawkins Geospatial proudly serves local homeowners, contractors, engineers, attorneys, developers, and municipalities throughout the Foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina. We combine modern surveying technology with small-town values to deliver accurate results, responsive communication, and dependable service.

Born and raised in Kings Mountain, Greg has deep roots in the community he serves. He and his wife, Haley, call Kings Mountain home, where they enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and pets supporting local businesses, participating in community events, and serving through their local church. Greg believes strong communities are built through relationships, trust, and a commitment to helping others.
"To me, surveying is about more than lines on a map. It’s about creating a solid foundation people can rely on. We’re in a unique position because we’re some of the first boots to walk on a site and some of the last. That’s one of my favorite things about surveying; seeing a project through its entire lifecycle. We get to watch firsthand as overgrown woods transform into communities where families live and grow, businesses create jobs and support local economies, public infrastructure moves people from point A to point B, and people unwind and enjoy time outdoors exploring new parks and trails. It’s very rewarding to know that our work helps turn an idea into something real, and even more rewarding to be part of it."
